Terms of Service

1. The Service

sagot gives sellers an AI assistant that answers buyer questions in Taglish, grounded on product and business info the seller provides, with a hosted chat page and embeddable widget. sagot is a standalone tool and is not affiliated with, or connected to, any marketplace (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, TikTok).

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. One person or business per account unless we agree otherwise.

3. Your content & responsibilities

You own the product info, branding, and other content you add. You grant us the limited right to host and process it to run the Service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate replies). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content, your prices, and your dealings with buyers. Don’t upload anything illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have the right to use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• using it for spam, fraud, harassment, or anything unlawful;
• reselling or sublicensing the Service without permission.

5. AI answers — no guarantee

AI replies are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are not professional advice. You are responsible for what your shop’s assistant tells buyers and for honoring (or correcting) any commitment it implies. The Service flags low-confidence questions and complaints for you, but does not guarantee it will catch every error.

6. Plans, trials & billing

New accounts get a free trial, then continue on the Free plan or a paid plan (Pro, Business, Scale). Paid plans are billed per the price shown at purchase and activated after we verify your payment. Plan limits (including monthly AI replies) are described on our Pricing page and may change with notice. Payments for a current period are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your shops or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for risk/abuse reasons.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, sagot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost sales or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
